The central cloisters of Segovia’s IE University Campus were recently converted into a big architecture studio. The students showed the projects they have been working on all year and shared them with the rest of the students on campus , as well as submitting them to the evaluation of the professors. It was one big open day for architecture, as any visitant to the campus was able to check out the progress of the students and attend an open lecture.

During the same event, IE University welcomed a lecture by Ireland based American innovative architect, Merritz Bucholz, titled  “Process Interaction: The guidance of Architectural Form”. This lecture takes part in the “Encounters” cycle, all over the year. It analyzes all the ways in which an architect can consider a project and all the different alternatives they have to unchain the creative process.

Until this moment, the cycle had lectures from journalist and cinematographer Oskar Alegría; professor and ETH Zurich researcher Toni Kotnik, and Elia Zenghelis, big names in architecture within Europe.
